Star speaks of her attempt to officially marry Manson in Corcoran State Prison, why it failed, and what it is like to be engaged to Charles Manson, who is serving a life sentence in Corcoran State Prison on charges of conspiracy to commit the murders of seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, in her home in Los Angeles. These murders were committed in August 1969 and became known as " The Manson Family Murders." Star believes that Charles Manson is innocent of all charges and speaks of her beliefs in ATWA, an organization founded by Charles Manson, that is concerned with environmental issues. Over the decades since his incarceration, Manson has had 12 parole hearings. He has been denied release every time.
